March brings a change of seasons around the globe. You may already be feeling it start to shift where you live.
In the Southern Hemisphere this is going to be marked by a cooling in temperature, a shift to shorter days, and a time of release with the Autumn Equinox.
But in the Northern Hemisphere, which is where I live, March brings with it longer days, a hint of warmer weather, and the tiny green sprouts of new life as the Spring Equinox approaches.
As I allow myself to live more in harmony with the cycles of nature, I’m discovering a clearer message of what each of the different seasons bring.
Preparing for Spring
Winter is the time for rest and reflection. A time to go within, to tune into your intuition, and to spend time dreaming of what you want to bring into your life.
As we transition towards Spring, it is now time to start taking action on those dreams. You can feel this in nature. The desire to push forth new life. To plant seeds in order to watch the plants grow and bloom in the coming months.
Let’s review the steps we take in Winter that help us prepare for Spring.
Step 1. Dream
First, give yourself the space and time to dream. Dream of what your vision of optimal health could look like. Without any judgement or censoring. What could happen if you really gave yourself permission to put YOU first?
Step 2. Ask
Once the “Dream” is clear, it is then time to start asking questions. Questions around HOW you can begin to manifest your dream. “How can I create a life free of disease…free of pain…full of energy…(insert what you’re desiring more of)?”
Step 3. Listen
This is then followed by the critical task of being quiet! To sit with your question. To breathe & be present, while listening for the wisdom of your inner guide. Using your journal to help connect with this wisdom.
These strategies, if they haven’t already, will begin to show you the actions you can take in order to start moving on the path towards your dream. These actions are the SEEDS we are going to plant this month.
Taking Aligned Action
Now, at this point, you may be asking yourself…why do I have to jump through all these hoops when I already know I should be eating better and exercising more?!
Well, my argument is that if it was only that simple you would already be living your dream of optimal health!
There is a difference between “what we should be doing” and “what we are meant to be doing”.
What we should be doing is what everyone else is telling us to do.
While what we are meant to do is what our inner wisdom is guiding us to do.
When we start to take action and live a life aligned with our inner wisdom, we begin to create the dream. It’s no longer out of reach. We’re no longer “on-again / off-again” with our healthy habits. We’re living in flow and on our path.
When I coach clients part of my role is to provide the information, strategies, ideas, & inspiration to help them move towards their goals. I also do this through my Blog for all of you.
But another, equally important, role is to help my clients tune into what their intuition is telling them to do. Where to start? What’s resonating? What’s most important to you?
Only with the combination of the two can real change…lasting change…happen!
Plant Your Seed(s)

It won’t take long for the roots to take hold and the tiny sprouts start to emerge. This new life that begins to grow, spread, and take shape…your new life!
